This free, family-friendly event presented by the City of Tuscaloosa will include fireworks, kids' activities, live music by the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra and more! Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Bama Bound is a comprehensive, personal orientation program aimed at connecting incoming freshmen with the academic culture, campus climate and student community at The University of Alabama.

At the University of Alabama, this tightly choreographed series of events commences about a week before school begins: Freshmen women move into their dorms early in the hopes of securing a “bid” from one of the university’s 17 participating sorority chapters.

In the spring semester, Greek organizations invite parents to Tuscaloosa to see what college life is like at Alabama.

This is the 21st Annual Hot Hundred, hosted by the Tuscaloosa Mental Health Alliance (TMHA) and the Druid City Bicycle Club (DCBC). This bike ride ranges in length from 30 to 116 miles.

Join us on Monday nights for open-mic comedy! If you want to participate, sign-ups for the show start at 7:30 pm and the open-mic starts at 8:00 pm! The event is completely free, and we feature a $3 Mystery Beer every Monday, so bring all your friends out for a drink and a laugh!

The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa’s Bama Art House Film Series Summer 2023 will take place at the Bama Theatre on June 6-July 11 at 7:00 p.m. with no screening on Tuesday, July 4. The theme of this summer’s series will be “Nostalgic Blockbusters.” Screenings begin at 7:00 p.m. with the doors, Box Office, and Bama Bar opening at 6:00 p.m.
