Checking In
Access your respective private room via electronic keypad. Some rooms have shared balconies. We are a self check in property, just like renting someone's beach or holiday home.
NOTE: You will be asked to provide an I.D. during our secure checkout instead of a traditional hotel's front desk.

This is the only first floor bedroom in the main antebellum home. A private stairway connects to Beverly’s Nursery, which can connect to Sweet Home Alabama, allowing up to three adjoining bedrooms. If you book Beverly's Nursery, you have access to the shower and toilet in Beverly's Nursery. Otherwise you have a shared bathroom on the second floor with a gorgeous ball and claw tub. The bedroom has 12 ft ceilings. The carpet is a replica of the original, and the mantle mirror and gasolier are to period. This room was likely the office of Captain Carpenter, veteran of the Mexican War.

All rooms have access to the common areas such as the front porch with rocking chairs, Dining Room (table that sits 10, keurig coffee, snacks, etc.), Gentlemen's Parlor with sitting area, and Ladies Parlor.  Find a few common area photos attached.

Everhope is approximately 35 minutes from The University of Alabama. We have hosted everyone - parents of students, professors, wedding brides & grooms, governors, CEOs, models, actors, rock stars, film crews filming at Everhope, authors, professional athletes, and people like you and me looking for a unique experience.

Everhope is a stunning example of Greek Revival architecture, boasts its original heart of pine floors, windows, woodwork, and even its original doorbell!  Designed by architect David Rhinehart Anthony to be Big, Bold and Beautiful.  Likely built with virgin pine and oak harvested on site, Everhope sports walls four times thicker than the modern standard.  It has stood the test of time.  Everhope is on the National Register of Historic Places and the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage for its architectural significance.
